Festival Thrash A four movement work written for the 2007 BTS South event. The outer movements are energetic and fun, contrasting a tongue in cheek waltz and a haunting slow movement with an eastern european flavour.

Light and Shade A work written for the 2009 BTS South event (originally titles Crown Capers). A slow and expectant introduction leads to an up tempo jazz like section. After a more relaxed and melodic middle passage the jazz mood returns, slowing to a reflective conclusion. The light sections can either be improvised or the written solos performed.
